You think securing your Mac with FileVault 2 is enough? Think again as due to a security flaw your volume encryption key is stored in your ram, which can be dumped over firewire.

1. Disable „Fast User Switching“, by selecting “Users and Groups”, clicking on “Login Options”, and unselecting the “Show fast User switching menu as” check box.
2. Keep the volume encryption key out of ram in standby mode by running this command in console
sudo pmset -a destroyfvkeyonstandby 1 hibernatemode 25
